Welcome to the Idaho Pathfinder Society!
We are a vibrant community of over 350 tabletop RPG enthusiasts and volunteers who organize official gameplay for Pathfinder and Starfinder.
Our lodge proudly serves players across Idaho and eastern Oregon, hosting adventures filled with heroic quests, galactic intrigue, and collaborative storytelling.
Whether you’re a seasoned player or brand new, there's always room at our tables.
Pathfinder is a fantasy roleplaying game from Paizo, based on the mechanics of Dungeons & Dragons 3rd Edition. It offers rich character customization, immersive storytelling, and tactical combat. Pathfinder now runs on its streamlined second edition, designed for faster gameplay and easier collaboration.
Starfinder is Pathfinder’s science-fantasy sibling; a tabletop RPG set in a futuristic universe that blends starships, alien worlds, and futuristic tech with the storytelling depth of traditional tabletop adventures. With the launch of Starfinder 2nd Edition, it now uses the same core rules as Pathfinder 2nd Edition — you only need to learn one system to play both games.
The Pathfinder Society is an in-world guild of adventurers based in the Pathfinder universe, and also the name of Paizo's global Organized Play program for Pathfinder and Starfinder. Players take on the role of Pathfinder Agents and embark on missions issued by the Society, working together to shape a living campaign that spans continents and seasons. Choices, successes, and failures can all influence the greater story that is revealed.
Organized Play is a structured way to play tabletop roleplaying games with standardized rules and shared story arcs. Players create characters that can be used across multiple games and locations, earning experience, reputation, and rewards along the way.
In home games, the story and rules are customized by the Game Master for a fixed group of players. In Organized Play, adventures follow standardized scenarios designed for portability, balanced rewards, and compatibility across multiple game tables. You can bring your character to a local game store, a convention, or another lodge in a different continent and they'll fit right in.
